Ultimate Green Smoothie Recipe

Hey Folks,

Here is a look at a favourite smoothie recipe of mine! When I look after my cousin's dog, I like to use her vitamix. It is a heavy duty type blender that will basically blend anythangggg.

Btw... this is Bella (legit the cutest dog out there).

Anywhooooo....

I went to a local produce market and picked up a few things. Everything in the picture above came to approximately 20$.

Grocery List

4 apples
2 pears
2 mangos
3 lemons
1 pinneapple
2 cucumbers
Bunch of kale
Bunch of spinach
Bunch of mint
Bunch of parsley
Bunch of cilantro

(This is what I bought, but will not use it all!!)

Smoothie Recipe

1 apple
1/2 pear
1/2 mango
1/2 juice of a lemon
1/5 pinneapple
1/2 cucumber
2 stems of kale (remove stem)
5-10 pieces of cilantro
5-10 mint leaves
5-10 pieces of parsley
Handful of spinach
1 cup of ice
1 cup of water

If any of you are looking for a way to get more greens and nutrients this should be your go to!

Step 1: Peel and core pinneapple (Add 1/5 to blender)
Step 2: Core pear (Add 1/2 to blender)

Step 3: Core apple (Add whole thing to blender)
Step 4: Add half of cucumber to blender

Step 5: Peel mango (Add 1/2 to blender)

Step 6: Add juice of half lemon to blender. (A good trick is to face half the lemon down in the palm of your hand and squeeze. This way you can catch all the seeds.)

Step 7: Add cilantro, mint leaves, and parsley.

Step 8: Add water and blend on high until ingredients combine

Step 9: Remove stems from kale leaves

Step 10: Add ice, kale, and spinach.

This recipe makes enough for at least two people! If you are without "bae" just drink it for a couple meals. It will give you glowing skin and make you feel really good!

Om nom nom

  2. Loved this post! The smoothie looks amazing and all of the ingredients sound amazing; I can't even imagine how healthy this is. I'm so stuck on making the simplest smoothies and normally stick to four ingredients, but I'm looking forward to trying this one. Yum. :)
