Valentine's Day Ideas

Hey Whos! Here are two fun Valentine's Day Ideas that I have tried and loved!

Valentine's Nightlight/Candle Holder:
For each Holiday season I make my niece and nephew nightlights, and then on the day of the holiday we use them as decorations. When these are nightlight I use fake candles and when we use them as decoration I use real candles. (Idea Source: My own Idea!)
Materials Needed From the Dollar Store:
-Two glass vases ($1.25 each)
-Two candle holders ($1.25 each)
-Pink Glitter ($1.15 each)
-Two Fake Candles ($1.25 for 2)
-Tea Lights ($1.25 for 16)
-Paint Brush ($1.25)
-Wet White Glue ($1.25)

-Gorilla SuperGlue (Around $7. I got this from Home Depot. I think it is important to buy a good one)

Stick Heart Shaped Stickers on the inside of the bowl. Paint the inside of the bowl with the glue. Immediately sprinkle in as little or as much glitter as you wish. Let dry.
Glue the bowl to the Candle Stick and let it dry. Use your Gorilla Glue. Peel off stickers once the glue has dried. Tie some ribbon around the stem. Ta da!

Valentines Advent Calendar:
I made this Valentine's Week Advent Calendar for my niece and nephew. I change up the surprises every year, but I re-use the pretty packages that I made! I wanted to stay away from Candy this year so I used games, crafts, activities, Gluten free cookies (lol), and fruit wands as prizes!(Idea Source: Me!)

How To be Prepared! Make a list of the activities and days, so that you don't have to open up the advent calendar to double check what's up next. Put each activity in a lunch bag, and place all of the bags and prizes in a bucket for easy access and set up. I did every thing early this year, so that its not suddenly midnight and I think "shoot! I didn't cutout and hide 28 hearts!"

I'm going to be adding two more great Valentines Ideas in the next few weeks! Stay tuned!
